Today I feel curious

MURCIA – CARTAGENA – CARAVACA

If you’re the cuiour type, come to the Region of Murcia. Here, there’s a story around every corner, under every stone and one the tip of the tongue of everyone who lives here.

In Murcia, there’s always something going on: music festivals, art exhibitions, theatre, markets and festivities… take a stroll though the history of the baroque period though its buildings and sculptures ( Santa María Cathedral, San Juan de Dios Church and the works of the sculptor, Salzillo); visit musums for all interests and relish the local cuisine.

Dating back more than 3.000 years, Cartagena is a city eager to share its history with its visitors. In this Port of Cultures, the sea plays a leading role. Highlights include the city’s defensive architecture, such as the Punic Wall and Concepción Castle; its Roman ruins, such as the Theatre and House of Fourtune; Its modernist routes and its major museums, such as the Roman Theatre and Arqua museums

Caravaca de la Cruz is one of five cities to celebrate a Perpetual Jubilee Year. A place of pilgrimage and devotion to the Most Holy and True Cross, where you can enjoy the passion, joy and colour of its fiestas in honour of the Most Holy and True Cross. The Castle-Sanctuary, the Nature Interpretation Centre and Springs at the Funetes del Marqués, and the Barranda Museum of Ethnic Music are all must-sees.
